Celebrating at Rudy's

We decided to go out to dinner at Rudy's to celebrate Trauma being over. Our very first Orthopedic Resident dinner was at Rudy's Bar-B-Q and we loved it. I actually make their famous cream corn quite often (another resident's wife somehow came across the recipe). Now a lot of the residents are addicted to it. Greg being a huge barbeque fan really likes Rudy's. As you can see from the sign it is the WORST Bar-B-Q in Texas!! It really isn't. It is pretty dang good and that's coming from someone who can live with or without barbeque. We had a fun time together as a family and we all left feeling a little bit stuffed and glad we made it through another trauma rotation.

I didn't know you went to Rudy's last night! Yum that actually sounds pretty good, don't you have left overs to give Greg tonight for dinner?

Oh, I forgot to mention that. We were on our way home from dance and decided to go and celebrate. We almost ate everything we bought (yep, were pigs) except for two pieces of turkey and little corn. I guess he could have had that for dinner, but he is on his way home now from picking up Nikki at Petsmart and grabbing us a snack. Hopefully he is only getting us a treat and not a full on meal this late. I'll never make it on our walk if I eat a ton this late.

Speaking of dance...give us the particulars on the upcoming recital.
