I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home....

Daddy's GirlsThis past weekend Greg went out of town to an Orthopedic Trauma Assocation conference in Atlanta. I always think these weekends home alone will be no big deal when Greg plans his trips. Every time he is getting ready to leave or we are on our way to the airport I get really stressed out and feel like I could have an anxiety attack. I never like when we are apart, especially days at a time.
I know this Primary song is meant for kids to sing about their daddies but I think the words are appropriate for Mommies to say about Daddies too.

I'm so glad when daddy comes home.
Glad as I can be.
Clap my hands and SHOUT for joy
And climb upon his knee.

Put my arms around his neck
Hug him tight like this.
Pat his cheeks and give him What?
A GREAT BIG KISS!

We all missed Daddy bunches and bunches and are so glad he is back at home with us!

Did he lose weight from his gut and put it in his head? His head has its own weather station. Are those satellites orbiting Greg's head?

We were just discussing the whole head thing last night and I tried to convince Greg his head looks the same. A HUGE thanks to Jim for the blow to my now THIN awesome husband's confidence.
Isn't weird how the roundness of his face distracted from his balding. Oh well, I think he looks great and it makes me feel tons better that he is so much healthier than before.

i am always jealous when jeff goes on his medical trips.
like the one in houston when he stayed at the 4 seasons. nice.

his last trip was to take the final boards in chicago. i had his family write letters of encouragment and then snuck them in his suitcase.
might be a fun thing to do for your husband.

sorry for my husband's comments. I made sure that he signed my name so you all didn't think it was from me. I bet you miss Jim sooo much :) (not!)

No worries Bridget. Greg cracked up when I told him to go and look at Jim's comment. We know how Jim is. We can take it!!

Let's not be talking about my grandson's head! As the saying goes "Grass doesn't grow on a busy street." Can't say I could be jealous of anyone going to Atlanta for a medical conference! YUK!
